The third Sunday of June was a special day. Father's Day. At OBV, the whole family remembered to send blessings and good wishes to the man they consider to be their father.
May good health and success be upon you. Honestly, I don't want to go home for the summer vacation, but I went anyway, and there I saw my parents' daily arguments and struggles. I wished to stay with the safety of OBV's walls, however I was encouraged to go home and look for a job, to earn some money to pay off my parents' debts...Please give some advice.

May happiness and the grace of God always be with you. I would like to open my heart to you. I know that you love and take care of us, and I'm grateful to you and all the member of the OBV family. Returning last summer during my break, I could see that my family was struggling, and my sibling was at school. I wanted to go back to them and work to support my grandmother and pay for my sibling's education. I felt there was nowhere else on this Earth I wanted to be, although I know and feel the love and support from Mother N, all OBV staff and my sisters in the OBV family. I'm sorry if my decision will hurt you and OBV's family, however I can't bear the thought of my family's struggles, and I don't have the motivation to continue on with my education."

Father's day truly is a very special day, with the gratitude of our kids for their 'father' coming out. Please keep our Fr Martino in your prayers, and may God grant him good help to continue his help for OBV and all the our children.
