Through a source from a reporter of NLD Magazine, OBV Vietnam has investigated and verified a case of a four year old girl was sexually assaulted server times.
After getting the information from investigating agency, OBV Vietnam has come and met Ms. T.T.V - the young girl's mother.

The friendliness of Ms. Linh Hà is expressed through her light smile and her warm regard. She talked with each child, learned their names and gave them encouraging. Those are gifts for children souls. Besides that, Ms. Linh Hà also gave the children candies and instance noodles.

Besides candies and medicines, this guest kept asking me "What else do the children need?" Due to her enthusiasm, Soeur did not hesitate anymore and said "It nearly comes to holiday, so can you please buy each a new set of clothes"
She asked us to calculate the amount of money, and only after few minutes, Soeur was received money to buy new clothes for Tet (New Year) for the children.
Upon hearing the sentence above, I always thought of it something uttered from the mouth of a "mama" or from the "elder brothers or sisters" specialized brokerage, hussling and trafficking of women and children as prostitutes, as sex slaves. Never even in my dream, would I believe this is the words of "advice" from a birth mother to her daughter.

On Nov 17, 2013, OBV has welcome a guest who could not stop her tear when visited the children. What she has heard before and what she has seen today definitely would stay in her heart. Not only by compassion in words, but she would act - soon!
Nearly past two months, OBV Vietnam focused on residency document and school transferring. It is the work that we have done for three years in every summer.
Due to lack of money, OBV had to rent house for children. Then a benefactor lent us a house for children, so we processed to transfer to new house.

November 9, 2013, OBV family had a guest. Despite the busy work in VN but Mr. Jimmy Thai has also set aside some time to visit and dine with OBV children. Soeur N. had met Jimmy at the fundraising in San Diego, but they have spent more time to talk during this visit in Vietnam. Wishing we will have other chances to meet again.
