Dear Fr. Thong,

I am a college student at UCLA. I watched your video on "Heart to Heart" and your stories really touched me and inspired me to do something about this. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what I can do to help. I am willing to organize big projects on my college campus to assist you with this issue. I am also going back to Vietnam this summer for a volunteer program, and I am willing to organize projects, fundraising, etc. to help you and these poor kids. You tell me what to do- I'll do it Father!

Sincerely in Christ,

Huy C. Nguyen

Hello Cha Thong,

I have listened to many of your workshops at VYC and Ngay Thanh Mau, and everytime I want to join you and Be A Voice. It was always my passion to help people, especially children. I am a teacher currently in Korea teaching English, and will visit Vietnam soon. I was wondering is there any volunteer or help I can do. I have many of your t-shirts, but would love to help out more while in Vietnam and in the future.

Thank you,

Anna Tran

Letter from a 6-year-old girl

Hello all,

This was written by my 6 year old niece to me about the OBV girls. She left it for me in my room when I was at our Board Meeting. I've been meaning to share this 'voice' with you all!

Hi, My name is Khloe (Khanh) Tran. After I heard about one body village, I kept thinking about it and finally, I decided to do something about it . that's why I'm writing this message. I would love to be a part of this organization and doing anything I can to help. I have been  supporting an organization of Mrs. Somaly Mam in Cambodia.

Anyways, I will take a vacation trip back to Vietnam this summer and I wonder whether I can stop by to visit you guys in Viet nam? On top of that, I would love to able to do something to help while I'm there.

Be A Voice - Let children be children

Let Children be Children

We got this picture and the following message from a 14 year old young man! Thank you for being a voice!!!!!! You who read this can be a voice too! OBV will have this picture printed on T-shirt! If you have a good one - .. sent us!!! or design one!

Hello friends from U.S and overseas. Today I went to a retreat for Lent and met a wonderful priest who risked his life to come back to Southeast Asian countries (Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, ect..) to rescue these children.

We do it because

On the eve of Chicago May 20th event, we want to share with you this email from One of our Many organizers!  She is a young professional – Neither OBV or Fr. Martino ever met her!  But her heart is there for OBV’s Children!  We are bless to have the people like her!  The event ticket sold out in two weeks!  600 tickets!!!  We will share with you more after the event – Pray for us and our children!
