Doctor Dan Thuy and Jesse Robbins have joined to help OBV since Oct 2013. They would like to relocate to Vietnam since Dr. Thuy always wanted to volunteer her medical knowledge there. They were impressed when attended OBV awareness and fundraising event a few years ago; and now Dr. Thuy is a doctor and medical consultant for OBV, Mr. Robbins teaches the young girls Krav Maga for self-defense.
Below is one of the journal from their blog.
My name is Tiffany Tran and I go to the University of Colorado in Denver. I am the event coordinator in our campus's Vietnamese Student Association.I am messaging you because our organization is currently planning a charity gala for One Body Village.
Dear fellow parishioners,
Fr. Martino and I recently returned from a trip to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, so I thought I might report to you on this experience.
First, I have to say how blessed I am to have had this experience. Over the last 25 years, I have been to many countries in Central America and have witnessed extreme poverty and deplorable living conditions. But nothing prepared me for what I encountered with child sex slavery.
Today, I write this short mail to ONE BODY VILLAGE organization to ask for the permission for visiting your house because I will have a short trip to Phnom Penh from 19 to 20 October. I hope that after this visit, my friend can introduce someone potential he khows for you.
At the beginning of the school year I was the board member to talk about OBV to our club members and I hope that my attendance to this event in Paris will help EmViet and myself become more aware of the deeper problem to this issue and not just what we might see as a surface problem
Who are you? That is right, you are one with quite a personality. I don't know where to start when talking about you. And when will the thoughts of you ever cease?

Subject: I can help
Dear OBV and Fr. Martino,
My name is Phượng Nguyễn. I am an OBGYN in northern California! I watched yout interview on youtube and cannot "let it go!" I wanted to do something - I heard that some of these kids have to wear diaper daily because of constant ?vaginal bleeding. I wonder if they have been seen by doctor to see if it can be treated medically or surgically. I'm specializing in gynecology. If you need help, I can meet them in person to see if i can help. I can take 1-2weeks off a few times a year.
I can also help financially as well.
Please just let me know I can be any help.
Phuong T. Nguyen, MD
