"Welcome, welcome hooray ..."
The OBV children in Cambodia joyfully greet the Radio Saigon Houston delegates – Mr. Duong Phuc, Mrs. Thanh Thuy , Mr. Quang Tuyen and Mr. Chau Tran - their visit and communication. After attending the Holy Ash Wednesday Mass with the children, arriving the house, the children welcomed the delegation with an acclaimed song.
Sweltering humid noon but the sunshine smiles on the faces of the hosts as well as the guests.
The OBV organization had never welcomed a such crowded delegation. Usually only Uncle or Mother visited, but today it was special. At the same time, there were Grandpa, Uncles, Aunts in the OBV organization, volunteering spouses Dinh and Thu from Australia, and also Dad and Aunt of the victimized child.

Mr. Bob and Mrs. Betsy along with the OBV Mother, Uncles, and Aunts
Bob and Betsy are parishioners in Father Thong's parish as well as the benefactors of One Body Village organization. During their visit to Vietnam this time, the two had the opportunity to meet with the children at the OBV house in Vietnam. Notified ahead that the couples will dock at Phu My port, the OBV organization in Vietnam had planned a welcoming ceremony. When their driver drove them to the wrong address a few days ago, the program was messed up. Nevertheless, the organization managed quickly to meet them far from the original location ... 120km.
The OBV Vietnam family welcomes Mr. Dinh Binh Tran and Mrs. Thu Lan Tran, a married couple from Australia, who recently stopped by the OBV Vietnam office. We learned that they reserved 10 days of their trip to Vietnam to live and interact with the children of the OBV Vietnam house.
They have many years of experience in the information technology sector and much experience with raising their own wonderful family.
At this joyous time of Lunar New Year of the Horse, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our beloved benefactors, partners and volunteers.

To learn about the course, many attendees left home to the missionary station to attend Mass and the training of "Parenting Skills" at 4 AM on Sunday.
"To meet again", our group departed for the "Parenting Skills" training camp. The destination is Long Xuan Thoi, Can Tho - a missionary station. This trip was very special for me. Before I went, I was informed that people at the travel site are very poor with very limited literacy. After interacting with the local people, my mind had opened to experience a lot more things. In my opinion, local people are not "poor", even "very rich" on the other.
In the morning of Jan 21, 2014, the OBV (Open Body Village) office in Vietnam has welcomed Dr. An Duy Nguyen - President of the Organization - and his wife coming to visit and present the Chinese New Year gifts to all local staffs.
On the occasion, Dr. An Duy Nguyen also had a social meeting with Dr. John and Dr. Thuy Dan's spouse before they boarded the flight to Hanoi to continue their Mission trip in Vietnam.
From the introduction of Jesse - Doctor Thuy's husband - OBV Vietnam has a chance to meet Jesse's friends (classmates) from America.
After knowing Jesse has collaborated with OBV, they would like to visit to know more about OBV organization.
