Out for a trip

Lately, the children had been so busy studying that they did not have time for a trip. Since today was a day off, I seized the chance to take them out and have some fun.
First, they visited the Statue of the Virgin Mary of Mekong River.

The children were getting off Aray Sath dock.

The children were praying to the Virgin Mary together, thent each of them told her their personal prayers: for their Father, for the OBV Family, for the benefactors and for themselves...

After that, they returned to Phnom Penh and took the tuk-tuk to Sorya.

This is a tourist attraction where people come to shop. There are also places to organize games for children up to 19. It is very cool here so the hot weather won't be a matter.

Stopping at a store to browse for some stuffed animals.

After exploring all five floors of a mall, the children went to the games corner on the 5th floor. They returned an hour and a half later and said that although they didn't know how to play and lost all the time, they really liked it. They hope that next time they could come here again since they enjoyed this place a lot.

It's getting late so they had a dinner at the restaurant before heading home.

Being able to go out once in a while makes them happy. I will try my best to take them out for a trip like this sometimes.
